The Gunnebo Security Group’s Code of Conduct lays the foundations for the way in which we all do business. It describes the organisation’s corporate responsibility to four key groups: employees, customers and suppliers, society and the environment, and shareholders.
Gunnebo’s Code of Conduct states that we shall adhere to all national and international laws and regulations, and that they shall represent the minimum standard as regards the Group’s actions. The Code also states that each employee will act as a responsible member of the business and contribute to the company’s sustainable development.
The Code, in parallel with our Core Values, is designed to guide employees to act responsibly and with integrity. We also encourage suppliers, agents, consultants and other business partners to adhere to the principles laid out by the Code.
The Code identifies four key areas of responsibility:
Responsibility towards Employees. To respect employees and their rights, to offer safe, suitable and non-discriminatory working conditions, and to invest in ongoing skills training to ensure job satisfaction and professional development for each individual.
Responsibility towards Customers and Suppliers. To acquire and retain customers through continuous development and to be able to provide products, services and solutions that meet customers’ expectations regarding function, design, quality, safety and environmental care.
Responsibility towards Society and the Environment. To manage the business as a responsible member of society acting according to the laws in the countries where we are present, and to show respect for the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights. We must make sure that we are not complicit in human rights abuses, and always consider health, safety and environmental issues to contribute to sustainable development.
Responsibility towards Shareholders. To protect the shareholders’ investments and strive for a sustainable return.
